Suflowers inspired by Vincent Van Gogh
Elementary students learned about Vincent Van Gogh and his paintings inspired by sunflowers. After viewing his work, we went on a field trip to the Berry Farms to explore the sunflower fields and pick flowers for our artistic studies. Upon returning, we created mixed media artworks of our sunflowers in vases, as well as a collobrative artwork inspired by Van Gogh’s “Vase with Twelve Sunflowers”.
